Located in the entrance of the historic Arcade Mall. Tako-Sushi restaurant boasts delicious eastern and western food under the same roof. They had a space that was wanting of art, and with their input of day of the dead and geisha I came up with this narrative image. Part of my pitch was also to make a canvas so I didn’t have to close off any part of the restaurant while I painted a mural. The finish work is 66” H by 12’L.
